Joint meeting ng Provincial Peace and Order Council at PTF-ELCAC, isinagawa

Nagsagawa ng Joint Meeting ng Provincial Peace and Order Council (PPOC) at Provincial Task Force To End Local Communist Armed Conflict (PTF-ELCAC) sa VJR Hall ng Kapitolyo noong Mayo 18, 2024.

Ito ay dinaluhan ni Governor V. Dennis M. Socrates bilang Chairman at nagsilbi namang presiding officer si PCSD Program Director Niño Rey C. Estoya katuwang si Department of the Interior and Local Government Provincial Director Virgilio L. Tagle.

Ilan sa mga tinalakay sa pulong sa ilalim ng Peace and Order Council ay ang Internal Security Update, Peace and Order Situational Report, West Philippine Sea Update, Updates on Illegal Drugs, Creation of Special Action Committee and Crisis Management Committee at Update on PPOC Resolution #4 series of 2024 at Support to Logical Jail Unit/Operations and Community Reintegration at ito naman ay dinaluhan din ng PNP, AFP at iba pa.

Naging sentro naman ng Provincial Task Force ELCAC ang ulat mula sa mga cluster ng Poverty Reduction, Livelihood and Employment, Local Government Empowerment, Basic Services, Localized Peace Engagement, E-CLIP and Amnesty Program, Infrastructure Resource Management and Employment, at Strategic Communication Cluster.

Layunin ng PPOC at PTF-ELCAC na manatili ang kapayapaan sa lalawigan ng Palawan upang patuloy na maisulong ang mga serbisyo at programa na inilalatag ng pamahalaan para sa mga mamamayan.
