KKDAT Assembly inilunsad sa Barangay Sambag 2 Cebu City

Punong-puno ng kaalaman ang naging pagbabahagi ng mga tagapagsalita sa mga kabataan na kalahok sa ginanap na Kabataan Kontra Droga at Terorismo Asembly sa IKTHUS First Baptist Church, Brgy. Sambag 1, Cebu City, nitong Huwebes, Hulyo 13, 2023.

Ang aktibidad ay inisyatiba ng mga SK Officials ng nasabing baragay sa pangunguna ni Hon. Daine C Padillo, SK Chairman na lubos naman na sinuportahan ng mga kapulisan mula City Community Affairs and Development Division Cebu City Police Office (CCPO), Women and Children Protection Desk Police Station 2 CCPO, Women and Children Protection Center 7, at ng Regional Police Community Affairs and Development Unit 7.

Sa nasabing aktibidad ay tinalakay ng mga naimbitahang tagapagsalita mula sa mga nabanggit na tanggapan ang mga paksa patungkol sa Iligal na Droga; RA 11313 o ang Bawal Bastos Law; Online Sexual Abuse and Exploitation of Children; Anti-Terorrism at Kabataan Kontra Droga at Terorismo.

Layunin ng programa na itaas ang kamalayan ng mga kalahok sa masamang epekto ng ilegal na droga at mabigyan sila ng sapat na impormasyon ukol sa kanilang mga karapatan at maging sa mga laganap na isyu at problema na dapat nilang malaman.

Mensahe naman ni Padillo sa mga kapwa nito na ipagpatuloy at pagbutihin ang kanilang pag-aaral para sa maayos at magandang kinabukasan.

“My message to the youth is that to always focus on your studies and at the same time follow these initials that is DEAD: Drug End All Dreams so we always have to prioritize our studies in order for us to chase our dreams and goals in life as well. We’ve been implementing this activity in uplifting the life of the youth in my barangay for almost 5 years now in service. We’ve always wanted them to become focused on their goals and be goal-oriented individuals in order for them to become potential youth leaders in the future,” saad ni Padillo.
